Margaret and her family have been vacationing in the lowcountry since the early seventies and now lives here full time. She has come to love the South and the many parts of it that make it so special.
Margaret has expanded her art interest from watercolor and oil to also include acrylic painting and oil/wax. She says “it is so exciting to be in this area because there as so many opportunities to learn and experiment with different media.”
Margaret, who is especially known for her dramatic watercolor florals, has an appreciation for all artistic styles. She is currently painting mainly in acrylic. She has juried both state and national exhibitions, has taught many workshops through New Jersey and South Carolina and has become a popular demonstrator. She taught an ongoing watercolor class at the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, NJ, to beginner and intermediate students. She has also taught watercolor classes at the Hilton Head Art League Art Academy on Hilton Head.
