Nancy Patrick Carney’s imaginative, original mixed media paintings invite us to see the people, places and animals of the South Carolina Lowcountry in a fanciful light. Nancy has a degree in art from Miami University in Ohio. She has worked as a commercial artist, package designer, product illustrator, children’s book illustrator, and art teacher to both children and adults. Since moving to Bluffton in 2016, she has been inspired by the beauty of this coastal area. A love of art history, a knowledge of the elements and principles of design, and the use of expressive color guide her artistic process. Nancy’s joyful paintings are the perfect complement to your creative home.
